Wondering if our pups eyes will change more or if anyone’s seen a color like this and what it may mature to. I’ve tried searching all over online and can’t find anything. His brothers and sisters all ended up having ice blue, green and light amber (they were all beige red tinge with pink nose). He was the only one from his litter with a black nose and dark blue eyes when we first got him. They have changed to a steel blueish gray, and one eye looks like it may possibly be Parti-colored since it has a speckle of light blue. We got him at 6 weeks (we were under the impression he was 7 weeks) he is 9 weeks old today ????????

They’re different too depending on the lighting

You got some good pics and yet, to me, it's still hard to tell, LOL. My impression is they are both possibly parti eyes (could just be how the light hits them though) I think they'll be blue but with an amber/brown since I do think they are parti eyes.

My boy Kohdi, has a parti eye, it was obvious very young yet both eyes continued to change for quite awhile. I picked him up from the breeder at 9 weeks old and they were still changing. I will look for some pics to demonstrate to you.

Ok, these pics won't be in order since my iPad rearranges them by order of when they went in my album, but the pic of him that has the "play" button (for video) is Kohdi while still at the breeder, I wanna say he is about 6-7 weeks old here....pic of him laying down in my driveway is his first day home with me, he was 9 weeks old, then I'll include a current grown up pic. Anyways, your pups eyes look slightly similar, to me,  to my breeder pic in Kohdi's left eye which turned a Amber type color. I do think your pup will have blue eyes though, just possibly with the amber parti eye affect to them

You'll get a better idea of the eye color under sunlight. My guess is brown eyes.

My husky is bi eyed, we saw pictures of him at 6 weeks and assumed he had two blue eyes. At 8 weeks the difference in colouring of his eyes was evident but it was still greenish blue. By 12ish week the color changed to brown Smile. Questioning Kiches eye color Screen12

thank you both! Both of your huskies are so beautiful and unique!
I just can’t wait to see what they turn to, reminds me of those mystery candies my daughter always gets except you have to wait longer lol.
I didn’t get that great of a pic today because it was all overcast and gray. I’m hoping the sun comes out tomorrow so I can try to get a better one. This one really shows off the little blue part he has. Also, his mom and dad were both bi eyed! That’s what I’m really curious of is if he will turn out the same.

Here is a pic of Max's eyes when he was a puppy.  They are much different now- brown.  You can see what his eyes look like now in the top left pane of the forum window under Husky of the Month for this month.

Mika's eyes started a deep blue and stayed blue, but much lighter.

I hope you stick around so we can see how your little guy turns out! We have a "scrapbook" section where you can post pics as they happen so it's pretty cool for going back and seeing just how much our pups change over time.

This thread has been pretty interesting to me. My last boy husky, Malukhai, that I had just before I got my current two, was bi-eyed like Doray's pup (above) and her pics really surprised me! Here is Malukhai at just 8 weeks and it's obvious he is bi-eyed but Doray's pup really does look like two blue eyes and past the 8 week old mark to boot! To see the change there is pretty dramatic.

Just goes to show that each pup is different and unique and change on their own timeframe.

He’s a cutie, the color is pretty close to our pups I’d say just a little darker, my guess is kiches will be amber to brown with that little blue parti area. I’ll keep everyone updated in a few weeks Smile

And Arctic! I most definitely will! I’m a first time husky owner so I know this site is definitely going to help with all the questions current and to come!

Feel like they changed more just overnight :o it’s also really crazy because in a darker room they almost seem brown now instead of gray, but then when you go outside and the sun beams they’re so different.
