Forum Rules
1. Here we prefer clarity to agreement. Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect.
2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.
4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. Please PM a staff member with any questions or concerns regarding this rule.

Koda has a very small brown spot on the side of his eye.. anyone know what these come from and if there is a way to get it to go away? I clean his eyes everyday.. sorry, probably a really dumb question but I know someone will know about this!

Do you mean in his eye, on the whites of his eyes? Or on the outside of his eye, on his face?
...just wanted clarification because I noticed the whites of Ginger's eyes are white but Storm's are kind of yellowish and sometimes has some brown on the whites of his eyes...so I was wondering if Koda's and Storm's eyes are similar...

Sierra does not have "whites" to her eye balls. Its like the colored part of he eye extends past the edge of what should be the border of her eye color. Could it be a broken blood vessel like we get in the whites of our eyes.

Oh and if this is abouts spots on the fur part around the eye then I have no idea.

It's on the white part of his eyeball, right outside the blue resting against it. Very very small, maybe 2 grains of rice size? Our chihuahua has one, much darker and bigger, had it for a long long time, but my mom has never taken super good care of them and they are going on 11 years..

My Sebo has one on one eye but not the other. He's had it for the 3 years I've had him so I just assumed it was normal. Doesn't seem to bother him in any sort of way that I can tell.

Nikolai has that too - I don't think it's anything to worry about.
