2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.
4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. I have a male husky that is 7.5 months old that weighs 55 lbs and is 24 inches tall. He is lean and eats like crazy. I was wondering if you guys think he is going to get much bigger, because from what I saw online he is the average size of a full grown husky. Currently he is gaining about 5-7lbs per month. I uploaded some pics I took today. *btw I LOVE big dogs, that’s why I’m asking lol.* Thank you!!

Well, since no one else is gonna take a crack at this ... Yes he's gonna be a big dog! The ears say Husky and so does the posture. Maybe you just lucky since you said you like big dogs.

BTW your 7.5 month old is about the same size / weight as my Alaskan Husky though he's a little smaller than my 8 month old GSD.

This is on masterclass
Medium breed puppy: Determine the dog’s weight at 14 weeks old. Multiply this number times 2.5 to get an estimate of your puppy’s adult size.

His growth plates are still open in those photos so he may get a little taller, but I wouldn't suspect by too much, maybe an inch or so. He will continue to fill out and gain weight until around 2 years old. He may land somewhere in the 65-70 pound range.

As someone who has an oversized husky I will warn, huskies should be a medium sized breed. Overly large dogs of a breed not meant to be large can lead to medical issues in their structure. I have a husky that is almost 28 inches at the shoulder and 90+ pounds. He should not be that large and it has created a lot of health issues for him that includes hip dysplasia and now we are seeing degeneration in his spine. We've been seeing the effects of this structural issue since he was young and it has impacted his quality of life.

He looks a lot like Lachlan at that age. Lach is 6 yo now and has topped out between 70-75lbs. And brace yourself, Lach was a handful as a puppy but at 1 year he turned into a crazy wild wolf!
