I got Jasmine from a BYB...possibly a puppy mill (not sure bc I never went there but she always had a plethora of various breeds of dogs). I knew nothing about anything ethics wise at the time. Shortly after I was considering getting a second husky so I called my previous "breeder" to see if any were available. She had no Huskies available but she had "huskydoodles". Knowin what I know now.....YIKES!

I remember she also had "miniture huskies" and was mixing Norwegian Elkhounds with huskies. Jasmine was a pup that she had purchased from another "breeder". I don't know anything about her bloodline but she honestly seems to me to be pretty standard for huskies. At 6 years we have had no major health issues or hip issues. Guess i got lucky.

This one makes me mad. This person wants the puppies but not the responsibility/bills for taking care of a litter so..hey give the dog to someone as long as you can have the puppies...more then likely to make some money.

I was curious so I asked what their "re-homing fee" was...still waiting for a reply.

Well, I'm normally skeptical of people "selling" or "rehoming" dogs on Craigslist but this person seems to at least care where the dog goes to, since she wants $600 and has plenty of photos, though they don't say they will screen interested buyers. Luckily there aren't too-too many huskies on Craigslist in my area. These were the only two I could find, and they both seem like the dogs are being well cared for and are being rehomed for "legitimate" reasons.

Well the lady emailed me back on the little puppy I posted. She told me the re-homing fee was $75, and she had someone taking him already! That explains why the post was removed.
