Forum Rules

So, a game we play with Appa is Hide and Seek. We make him stay on his bed then we go hide a piece of cheese somewhere in the house. He then has to find it using his sniffer. We started out small and have worked our way up to different levels of the house. It cracks me up how LOUD he sniffs while searching for it. This was an easier one, but I thought I'd share anyway.

Biko would be good at that as I've noticed he has a strong nose. Adobo though she would starve, but she does have the better eyes of the two.

Thanks guys! We think it's adorable as well.
It started because I would love to get Appa into SARs training. I found out that Malamutes were used during WWII for SAR (among other things). I figured we'd start with searching and rescuing some cheese first. Some times I feel like he's just going through the motions of "sniffing" but not actually smelling, because he will sniff right past the cheese multiple times until he sees it with his eyes. Cheater.
