Indestructible Bedding? Empty
PostSubject: Indestructible Bedding?   Indestructible Bedding? EmptyMon May 07, 2012 1:14 am

I am having a really hard time finding a large dog bed or mat to put in Sky's kennel that she doesn't completely destroy. Does anyone have any suggestions? I have been through several, and I really can't afford another nice one Sad Right now she is sleeping on 3 towels because she ripped through her last bed and I'm afraid she was eating the stuffing!

PS:
I have not been on here in months!! I will post updated pictures of my baby Sky this week! Last time I was here she was like 7lbs.... now she is pushing 35! Smile

My solution? No beds in the crate. Koda and Hailey will destroy theirs too and to be honest they seem to prefer the crate without them.

There is no such thing... so might as well work with what they're telling you "I don't want this in here." It's a lot cheaper Wink

Haha I suppose that works! The bottom of the cage just seems so.... hard! But I guess she likes to lay out on the tile anyway.... can't be much different lol.

In my experience, it's not even worth it to put a dog bed in their crate. I did it at first with Delilah, I have tried blankets, mats and actual beds...she just either shredded them or humped them(for whatever reason). Now, She sleeps with it bare and with a Kong or Antler. She likes it that way.

Don't worry about it too much, a lot of the huskies on this forum are crazy about their bedding. You aren't alone!

Delilah does that too! I think they like how cold it is compared to carpet.

i just use a thin blanket folded into fourths. On the days she wigs out a little bit, she pushes it to the back of her crate, but never hurts it, unlike the comforter i tried first Indestructible Bedding? 1625187496

She has a dog bed that she loves laying in when we're hanging out in my room, but she's crawled into the crate to sleep at night voluntarily before, so it can't be toooo bad

On a side note, here is my buddy James' blue merle aussie critiquing the bed he just got for him.
