2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.
4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. Please PM a staff member with any questions or concerns regarding this rule.

Yep, let's hope that rat in a fur coat doesn't cross your path!
Storm used to pull, and even when he dropped weight to where Storm and Ginger weighed the same as me, they could still take me down when I wasn't paying attention. They seem to really like bunnies, even more so than squirrels when out for a walk. As long as you're ready before they go, I think you'll be fine. And don't get caught on wet grass with sneakers and have a squirrel or bunny cross your path - I 'boot skied' on grass until they lunged at the damn bunny.

Damn rats in a fur coat!! I remember when the pups took you on that little ride lol!
Thank goodnes we don't have bunnies around here! That's all i would need..lol.

Melissa - do you carry any kind of spray to ward off other dogs? When I walk the 2 myself, it helps get stray dogs away from me. Petsmart has Animal shield, a citronella spray. Once time, I had to ward off Ghetto Cat - who lunged at us like Bruce Lee...

Yep, I bought the citronella spray when you suggested it a while back, but I haven't had to use it (knocking on wood). IF I did have to use it one day I'm not sure how I would go about doing that holding two leashes though scratch

Lmao at the ghetto cat! Don't you know they b thugs?! Razz

Melissa, we had an off leash dog approach us yesterday. Thank god neither of them are dog aggressive and the golden wasn't either. Regardless I scolded the owner, It's illegal in Livonia and I told him I had no problem calling animal control if I thought his dog wasn't being contained.

He was pissed, but I don't feel bad. His dog could have easily approached a dog aggressive dog and gotten hurt.

Yep, like Mya. She wouldn't happy if an off leash dog approached her Rolling Eyes

I wouldn't consider Mya dog aggressive - she just needs some time to warm up to other dogs. Smile

She just doesn't like other dogs up in her business Razz

Walked the three together again just now. I did have to hand Mya over to hubby once because I got all tangled up Rolling Eyes Then when they stopped to sniff something Asia's leash got wrapped around Kody's leg. Hubby had to fix that. Those were the only 2 incidents. Guess it's not too bad!
