1. Here we prefer clarity to agreement. Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect.
2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.
4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. Please PM a staff member with any questions or concerns regarding this rule.

Just wondering if any of you ever have bad dreams about your dogs. I had a really bad one early this morning. Sierra and Jack had gotten loose and we lost them for a week, I was calling every shelter I knew of looking for them and I finely got a hold of one and they said they had a dark brown husky and pieces of another brown husky, my heart dropped and I drove over to find that Jack was there and the pieces were Sierra and that they found her on the side of a road and that someone had turned Jack in. it was so real it woke me up and I was so sad, I had to call Sierra up to the bed and hold her and kiss her. this has not been my first bad dream about them but it was the worst one yet.

I've had some bad ones of them getting nailed by traffic. Waking up all frantic like that sucks. Then I have to go check on all of them before going back to sleep.

I used to be really into dreams... I have a history of prophetic dreams. The most recent and memorable one was being at my uncle's wake in my dream about 6 months before he died suddenly. The room, everything was the same down to the flowers and what he was wearing.

Anyway, long story short, I got into analyzing dreams and what they mean. I would think your anxiety about Sierra might have to do with her being sick.... take her in Sad

I have bad dreams, and good dreams, involving my dogs. lol I had a LOT of bad dreams involving Dakota getting loose and/or lost in the first few months that we had him. I used to wake up in the middle of the night screaming his name. My hubby also tells me (since I always talk in my sleep) that I would wake him up at night calling Dakota's name. Laughing
