Forum Rules
1. Here we prefer clarity to agreement. Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect.
2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.
4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. Please PM a staff member with any questions or concerns regarding this rule.

I caught Neeka (our 9 week old puppy) on top of the dinette table. I have no idea how or why she got up there. There was no food on the table. Can't wait for more!!!!

My dog wouldn't enter the bathroom for a big juicy steak. She avoids the bathroom (land of the dreaded bath) at all costs, won't even walk near it.

Saphire climbs on and lays on the patio table all the time. I think it makes her feel big and in charge!

Ezio hasn't done anything like that yet! He's been surprisingly mild-mannered in comparison to the things I've read about puppies and especially Husky puppies. Him sleeping under the couch seems to be the silliest thing he does. It used to be the coffee table, but now he's too big. Razz

Moose's big claim to fame in the mischief department is the amount of food that he has scavenged off the counters. Yes, he has a couple of slow owners who have finally figured out not to leave the kitchen before all food has been put in a safe zone. It is remarkable that he has shown no digestive upsets (front or back) from the things he has eaten.

The list to date cumulatively in his 9 month lifespan:
3 loaves of bread
24 cupcakes
1/2 pan brownies
half an eggplant
1/2 of a banana cake
3 bananas
1 dozen oatmeal cookies
12 yeast rolls uncooked (that we had to do the hydrogen peroxide thing)

Does anyone have any good ideas for discouraging counter surfing?

On another note - with the bathroom - Cato has been carrying his bed and Delilahs bed into the bathtub. I wake up in the morning and he is sleeping in the bathtub on his bed....I have no idea how he manages it. I think the cats help him.

Now, the door has to be shut.

Neeka inhales her food so fast, she then goes and steals the cat and other dogs food. She now eats in her crate then whines until everyone is done. It is the only way they can all eat!
