Sorry havn't been on here in a while been really busy. Zoe is 5 months now and she still isn't potty trained. I crated her her first week and took her out every hour with rewards. She has never gotten full run of the house. I give her her favorite treat and praise everytime outside. What can I do to get her potty traineddddddd. 90% of my stress with her is the peeing in the house. She never poops just pees and it could be right after we went outside. Could she be marking? Any suggestions..

Might be marking, but I think one way you can really help the situation is by not expecting it all the time. Your dog knows when you are stressed and can be affected by your stress. If you expect a pee everyday it probably will. Has she gotten a tour of the house? or is she confined to one area? Maybe her not knowing other areas very well might cause her to go more.

Kota did the same thing when I got her. It use to drive me nuts! It never failed, if we went outside she would want to play and the moment we came in it was time to potty. I didn't understand it. Eventually I learned all her little "habits" and knew when she would need to pee before she even knew.

If we had a play session or she woke up from a nap, chances are she would need to pee 10-20 mins later. I would take her outside as soon as she started getting ansy ad moving around. If she pottied it was a big deal and we made her believe it was too. We saved her special treats, like ham or a hot dog for that occasion. If she didn't potty we would go back inside and try again in 5-10 mins. I kept her with me or tethered to me all the time. She sat on the couh with me and didn't get down unless we were playing or something like that. I even sat with her while she ate/drank.

You learn the things that make them need to potty. Playing, eating, drinking, sleeping. Things like that and if you can get them outside before they realize they need to go you'll have better luck. I would also recommend using a training bell on your door. They sell them at Walmart and most pet store. It's simply a rope with bells that hang on your door. Ring them or encourage her to ring them when you go outside. That way they have something to associate with goin to potty. Kota did great with those. It took a while but now at 7 months he does great and is completely potty trained with few accidents.

I would also try taking her out to potty on a leash if you haven't been doing that so try know it isn't time to play. Kota just wanted to run and play when we took her outside but on the leash she knew it was business only.
