Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect. 2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff. 3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! | They're blood pythons.. Top right is a Sumatran, bottom right are Borneos, and on the left are Malaysians. I would love to have a pied ball.. one day when I can afford it.

| Naw., they aren't too bad as long as they aren't hungry. lol.. I know they have that reputation, but I think it's all in whether or not they are used to being handled. |

| I'm curious as I don't much about snakes but.. how big do they grow? Are the snakes any danger to the dogs? |

| if they were a danger to the dogs i wouldnt have them.
male ball pythons get about 4 1/2 foot. females get about 5 1/2. i think males can weigh like 7lbs and females can weight 11.
i dont let them no where near each other. |

Snakes don't go after anything that's larger than what they normally eat. Mine range from 4-5 feet and eat medium sized rats, so no worries about them going after a husky. (My dog is an adult, but I think even a husky puppy would be too big to be viewed as prey.) I am more concerned about the dog hurting the snakes, but they (the snakes) are secured in cages in a room where the dog doesn't have access. |
