| Actually Brooke, they do - I used to work for them.
Regardless, I don't feed kibble. But, I want people who do to be aware of the things they are dealing with. |

| I know no kibble is the best or even close to raw. If I had the extra time and money to feed raw I would. I'd love to be able to just it isnt in the cards for us right now:/ |

| It is significantly cheaper for me than kibble. That is for sure. |

It is for me too, however we have to acknowledge that not everyone possesses the ability to buy in bulk and stock up for lack of funds, freezer space, or what have you. In the absence of my huge chest freezer, it would probably cost me more to feed raw than prepared food. _________________ |

| That's true, but even when I was feeding Oma's, a prepared mix it was the same if not a bit less to feed the raw meat over kibble.

| I live in an apartment. I have no where to put a big freezer. I do have a question though I am not sure if I can ask here but since we are on the topic my stepdad hunts if I were to feed raw could I give her the hamburger meat type stuff he gets? |

| Hmm Balon had such loose stools when we got him, we tried Orijen and Acana which he hated, then did Wilderness Salmon and he loves it! First we fed him duck and he loved that too. No problems and nice firm stools! |

| Blue Buffalo Wilderness is a decent food and I agree with a lot of people on here that I would personally stay away from food made by Diamond. Taste of the wild is a great food for the price but just not work the risk. If you want to try something else Fromm is a great option if you have it available in your area. It is a family owned operation in Pensilvania and because it isn't mass produced as much as other brands they tend to have better quality control. If you can't find Fromm you could also try Merrick's grain free recipes. They were recently re-formulated from the ground up and they now compete with the best foods out there. They also tend to have higher Omega 6 & 3s as well as glucosamine and chondroitin than most other kibble. If you would like to do more of your own research, as other people suggested dogfoodadvisor.com has a decent unbiased review system that covers most of the important info on each brand. |
