so my husky has had diarrhea the past 2 times she has pooped, as long as she's been with me she's never had this. i feed her bule buffalo salmon recipe 2.25 cups per day. she does have an ear infection though but i doubt that has any thing to do with her diarrhea. today was the first time she didn't completely kill her food, their's barely anything left but she usually licks it clean. any knowledge on this could be very helpful

Is she on an antibiotic for the ear infection? That can sometimes upset their stomachs.

Also, don't worry too much about her not finishing her food, just make sure she gets plenty of water!

She may have eaten something outside that's upset her stomach. A little bit of pumpkin can help firm the stools (not too much as it can have the opposite effect) and plain yogurt is supposed to help too.

You can also feed her a bland diet to help settle her stomach. People feed rice & chicken or veggies & eggs. Be careful of the rice though if she's used to a grain free diet. I made that stupid mistake myself haha

If it doesn't stop in a day or two or if she stops drinking, I'd take her to the vet. It could be something like worms.

Hope she feels better soon!

Shots don't prevent worms, they prevent diseases. Sometimes even deworming meds can miss a particular type of worm if that one isn't covered in the medication.

Worms are passed along through the fecal matter of other animals or almost anything she can get outside. Has she been anywhere new recently?

Also-- how old is she and how long has she been on Blue Buffalo Salmon? 2.5 cups a day is a lot. Koda is a 60lb male and on Blue Buffalo, he only got about 2 cups a day. It could be that the food is too much or too rich and that's why she's stopped eating as much.
