Forum Rules
1. Here we prefer clarity to agreement. Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect.
2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.
4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Hey all! I am so proud of Selena already in the small amount of time she has been with us...only 10 weeks old and she has already learned sit and paw Very Happy. She is even doing very good with her potty training and only having a few pee pee accidents on the kitchen floor if I happen to not to be paying attention. Some nights she even sleeps the entire 9 hours without waking me up to go potty! If not she only wakes me up (by kissing my face to death lol I love you ) once around 3-4am then we go out to do potty and she comes back to bed. Oh and she's growing so fast, already 12 pounds!! I do hope she starts going up and down the stairs soon though LOL

Hope everyone's fur babies are doing well Smile

Yup. I did this with my 8 week old pup, and she picked it up the same day. Goes up and down the stairs like a fat ball of fluff now. Smile
Congrats on a sweetheart for a pup!

Thank you guys! I try to put her on the stairs and move her legs for her but she just stands there and kind of shakes so I feel bad and just carry her lol! I'm wondering if I should start her out on our hallway stairs that are carpet and only 3 stairs compared to wood and 10 stairs, (my chihuahua would only do the carpet ones at first, dn if it's a small dog thing).

Congrats! Smile It's crazy how smart and quick they pick up on things! Kyra knew sit and could give me each paw by that time aswell:) . At 12 weeks I randomly put both my hands up and said hi-five and she gave me both hi-five at once! now she can give me each paw hi-five on it's own plus do both at the same time. I have no idea how she just "knew" to do it with no one showing her.

I'd definitely start with carpeted stairs.
And more pictures! Smile
