I love ren faire. I have friends in the Guilds and have always wanted to join one but have always worked weekends. I just quit my retail job in favor of an office job so now I have time to go every weekend. I'm probably going to end up getting a season pass.

Ours doesn't allow pets though. Evil or Very Mad

Poop on all of these Ren Faires that don't allow dogs. Razz
My first year I went, there was a woman with her pet fox. It was pretty cool. Smile

So if you came you'd have to choose one, or have Abby take the other if she doesn't wanna deal with her crazy dogs. Wink
I'd probably take Maya so she can meet Phoenix since she probably won't meet her at our meet. That is if Megan wants to take me, if not i'll just walk. Razz

Of course I'll take you and Maya! I'll probably take Yuki since Cloud doesn't like big events all that much.

And yeah ours didnt allow pets but I'm definitely up to drive to one that does, I love going places with my pups! Do you know who the jousters are at the Michigan fair? I worked with Dame Jessica and a few of the other knights at the Ohio one and was wondering if they'd be up at the Michigan one Razz

That's alright, I'll have to stop by the jousting arena and see if I recognize anyone. I might dress up Yuki if I can find her a costume.. I'd like to get a white/blue snow princess type one.

Idk what i'd dress Maya up as and idk what i'd dress as. Maya isn't used to wearing things so i'm not sure what she'd do. She's used to her backpack though so maybe it wouldn't be that bad.

I don't know if I'll dress up, ren-fair clothes can be really hot for the full corset outfit. I just bought a light-weight green flowy shirt that way when its hot, I wouldn't feel it so bad, but still looked renfairish... xD

At the ren-fair, lol. Clothing there is expensive though so I looked around until I found the least expensive shop.

Good idea, I'm gonna try looking online for outfits now and maybe ordering something while its off-season, maybe it'll be cheaper that way and I can find a costume to match Yuki's.

Phoenix will either wear her red dress:
Renaissance Festival - Page 2 2012-115

Or she'll wear the tutu I bought last year at the Faire and Kumari wore:

I don't really dress up myself. I have a black pirate hat with a red feather and then I just wear whatever the weather warrants. I prefer to feel comfortable rather than part of the scene personally. Haha

Aww, i was only going to dress up if everyone else was going to. I'll see what kind of designs my mom has and if she has anything that's to my liking. Maybe i can have her make Maya a costume.

Oh and Megan,Josie was wanting to come too. Not sure if she's going to take one of the girls cuz you know how she is. Rolling Eyes

It was kind of a let-down. I found an ADORABLE royal-like ice princess dog dress, but the largest size is 19 inches at the chest and Yuki has a 25 inch chest now, and shes still growing. Every site I come across only has cute stuff for like, pomeranians .-.

I might dress up, if I find a cheap shirt that I like. I'll probably still wear jeans because honestly I can't control Yuki in a heavy dress Razz
and of course Josie can come. If she wants to bring a dog its her decision but I understand if she doesnt, its a pain handling Yuki alone so its kinda a relief theres a one dog per person rule Razz

Yeah, I'm unsure how Phoenix is going to be. She goes out places and is fine, but she can get very excited. I actually bought some calming tablets for her because she has a bit separation anxiety and I figure if need be, she can have one of the tablets for the Faire to help her relax a bit. Chelsea is thinking about using them because her dog is weird around men and some women. She wants to try them at like the dog park or something and see if it might help with her dog's anxiety and stress a little. Smile
I'm going to look into a good shirt for the Faire, but I'll either be wearing jeans or shorts. I'm not really a skirt or dress girl anyway. Plus easier to handle Phoenix in pants. Haha
