I own the us version of hachi, funny thing is the first time I saw it I was a mental health tech for teens and that was what the state wanted them to watch afterwards we had to discuss the message/morals. While I tried not to cry in front of these teens lol even the hardass ones had tears in their eyes. I love reading about the real hachicko... that was pure love

Yes, I was refering to the US version. I haven't seen the origial yet. Not sure if I want to I don't want to be a mess again.

The real story of him I believe he ran away from multiple owners always to return to wait. ... if that doesn't jerk your heart anymore
