Yayyyy puppies!

Today was a very bittersweet day. After a very long night and day and an emergency C-section we have two puppies. A red male and a wolf grey female. They are beautiful.

It's been a very long day.

How's the mother doing? Were there only 2 pups or only 2 survivors?

Only two survivors. Mom is doing great. Pups are nursing and Mom is okay.

So what does that mean in terms of puppies? Were you and Lani first deposit or will you be waiting on another litter, or even another pair of parents for that matter? So sad, glad the two are doing alright.

I don't think it's best to discuss that kind of stuff on public forum, but I can tell you that I don't honestly know and neither does Lani or the breeder.

Awh they're so cute <3 I was just thinking if the pregnancy didn't go well, they may not breed the pair again. So I was hoping for you guys.

Oh, no, Velcro will be spayed.However, there may be another breeding with someone else, who knows? Right now it's just time to get these babies growing.

Yes, very pleased momma is doing well and the puppies look fat and healthy so far.  Long road ahead.  Far too early to make any decisions.  Just keeping good thoughts headed to momma, babies, and breeder.

Oh man pink puppy feet are the best! Best wishes to you two and the breeder, momma, and little puplets. The random white spot on the grey one is pretty cool.

Awww poor thing! I hope those two puppies grow up and make mom very proud! Did they say why the mommy had to have a C-Section? If you prefer not to discuss it, no worries, I was just curious. Hope it's nothing life-threatening, Velcro looks like such a cutie! Sending good vibes all of your ways!
