Forum Rules
1. Here we prefer clarity to agreement. Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect.
2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.
4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. Please PM a staff member with any questions or concerns regarding this rule.

Well I signed up a few days ago but didn't find this section till a few minutes ago Razz

My name is David. I live with my partner in Munno Para West, South Australia. We have a 1 year old Siberian named Logan, and have just yesterday gotten a second little Husky named Tayla.

My partner and I built a Husky website designed to help educate people in our area, and the world at large, about the intricacies in raising Huskies as family pets. Not to specifically to discourage them, but more so that people can make an educated decision about what breed to get, rather than just thinking 'Huskies are so pretty, I want to get one'.

The address is www.myhusky.com.au

At the moment I am trying to find breeders, clubs and businesses to swap links with to try to get some publicity for the site. If anyone has any good suggestions on who I can approach that would be appreciated.

There are also obviously lots of photos of Logan and Tayla on the site Smile

Thanks guys. And if anyone has any suggestions on what I can add in to make my site better I'd love to hear them.

I also have lots more photos of Tayla to post. Obviously I have been going crazy taking photos of the yappy little princess.

I honestly wasn't expecting to find an online community so rich with Husky fans. It's a great surprise.

Hi David! I got a chance to check out your website. Great info and I LOVE Logan and Tayla. They are so adorable. I had to do a double take with Tayla's pics because she looks almost exactly like my Jasper. Even my husband thought I was showing him pics of Jasper until he looked closer and noticed the eyes. Jasper's left eye is half blue-green on the bottom and gray on the top and his right eye is brown.
