Hey guys ! So Kai's coat is beginning to change at 11 weeks.
His head fur is getting darker and the white fur is now white instead of a creamy colour.

But he is starting to get dark patches, theres one big one between his shoulder blades.
Theres a ridge of dark red down his back and either side of it theres flecks of dark fur. Its sort of like red fur but the tips are dark almost black.

Do you think he could turn sable ?

Do not think he will be sable - his points are liver, sable dogs have black points.

Ami is a light red and now that his undercoat is half gone, I was very surprised to see the same dark hair in the same pattern that you describe.  His undercoat is a beautiful light cream.

Ooh right ! I dont think he'll be sable but I do think that his back will have some sort of dark stripe (hard to tell since he's so young)

Ami is gorgeous ! I love his coat  Smile
Thanks for the input !!

With Liver points he will turn out to be a red.

Honestly Sibe puppies go through the weirdest stages in their coats as they grow, I wouldn't pay too much attention to the dark at the mo, you will find his coat will change almost weekly Smile

My boy is a dilute black and white and he went through a stage as a pup with red on top of his head and down his neck and in his hindquarters and tail, he looked ridiculous - now he just has a sandy color above his hocks and a touch behind his ears in summer. His sister on the other hand is a light red and at one stage had a darker more pronounce stripe down her back than Orion did, yet now she is a beautiful golden honey color.

Kai is just gorgeous by the way, enjoy puppyhood!
