AWWW you finally went to get her! She's so so adorable and Siku seems to really like her. Girl, if they were chewing on a treat in the same room Siku DEFINITELY likes her! I'm semi jealous Mya is being so mean to Kody today...grrr!!!

Congrats Sara- I bet Elara will look a lot like Koda when grown up, Koda had really similar coloring (though his goggles were thicker)!! So cute! Everyone has puppy fever.

lol. Yep she has puppy breath! I wasn't so sure if I wanted another puppy or adult dog, but my boyfriend said he only wanted a puppy so we could socialize it with the cats. I don't think he trust rescues anymore after seeing all the dogs my mom has brought home! lol. Besides, if she grows up nice, I'm going to show her and that should be fun. She's a "show puppy" but the breeder had concerns about her legs being too short. We'll see. It's not the end of the world if I can't show her.

Thanks everyone! It was sort of spur of the moment, but not really. We have always wanted to get another dog and my boyfriend started looking for a puppy about a month and a half ago. We found this breeder and I've been talking to her since the begining of this month. Only a couple of people on the forums knew I was looking at a puppy and that was through pm's. I kept it a secret, cause I wasn't totally sure if we were going to go through with it or not. But I'm glad we did. Siku seems happier and Elara enjoys her company too. I'm surprised at how well Siku plays with her. She does get a little rough, but most of the time she's really good.

BTW, I forgot to mention, Elara is one of Jupiter's moons. That's were we got the name from. And I picked her up on the day of the total lunar eclipse, so her AKC name might be Allure's Total Lunar Eclipse or something like that.

Thanks! Sure you can make me a siggy. And yes, it is still warm enough to use the pool some days. You should see the pics I took at the dog park. Someone left a kiddie pool there and Siku had so much fun in it with another husky. That's the main reason she's all wet in these pictures. I knew I was going to give her a bath, so I figured I could bathe Elara too and pulled out the pool to see how she liked it.
