Forum Rules | 1. Here we prefer clarity to agreement. Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect. 2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff. 3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned. 4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. Please PM a staff member with any questions or concerns regarding this rule. |

| A friend of mine lost his 12 year old lab on Tuesday and Dizzy's best buddy Rosie is very sick. She's only 2 and I'm hoping to get better news today that she is on the road to recovery. It's made me remember the two I've lost and how much they mean to me, even still, years later. Anyway, I'm remembering my beautiful girl Tasha today and missing her. If only I could just hug her and hold her one more time. I completely believe she saved my life, in more than one way. Miss you girly! |

| *hugs* Keeping Rosie in my thoughts and hoping she gets better soon.
Hopefully when you get home to that goofy boy he'll make you feel better. _________________ |

| Sorry Jen. Praying for your friend and their doggie that is on the rainbow bridge, also prayers to Rosie. My sympathies to your Tasha She is really beautiful. I really miss my Scout. He was my German Shepard. He died of cancer a few years ago, I know how hard it can be loosing a best buddy. Keep your chin up. |

| I'm sorry Jenn. Give Diz some extra hugs today.
I know you mentioned it in the hijack, what's wrong with Rosie? |

| I'm sorry you are down in the dumps, today, Jen. Sometimes, out of the blue, memories of Sasha, from way back in the '70's, come back full force. I loved that dog. She was with me through thick and thin. And a royal PIA to distract me Hopefully, Dizzy will be a jerk today and keep your mind busy! |

| Thanks everyone. Rosie was having copious amounts of bloody diarrhea and was also vomiting. The emergency vet got her stabilized, but she continued to have intermittent bloody diarrhea. So, she went into the vet hospital yesterday morning. I haven't heard from her owner today, so I'm not sure what her status is at the moment. Praying she's okay. Amy, Sasha sounds a lot like Tasha. |

| Jen, I'm sorry today is a rough day, I hope Rosie is doing way better this afternoon. Tasha was a pretty girl, I think we can all relate to this. Take care |
