Forum Rules
1. Here we prefer clarity to agreement. Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect.
2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.
4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. Please PM a staff member with any questions or concerns regarding this rule.

Siku did the same thing. He just gets scared very easily, i'm not sure why, cause he has never been hurt by anyone, and we have had him since 8 weeks. But it is any man or anyone with a hat on that he just barks and barks and won't move. So what I did to move him past that, was I tried to be very observant of what was coming ahead, and just have really good treats. When we would near them and you could tell he was uncomfortable, I would keep the treat in my hand, guide him by and he if didn't bark and just kept walking he would get a treat, and so on and so on. Now he does much better and he doesn't need treats to do it!

With a hat? ahah
Well, we just got home from a run of 5k when in the middle found 4 people, he didnt stop, just sniffed them and walked away normally, i will update this if he ever does this again. Dont know if he didnt do it now because he was tired or was just a momentary thing for the past days.

yeah, I don't get the hat thing either. My boyfriend put on this big hat one time, just to see what he would do, and he went absolutely nuts and would not go near him Suspect. He has many weird little quirks, nothing really surprises me with him anymore!

If it does start again, I would just try the treats, maybe your right it was just a one time thing or he just didn't like those particular groups of people. Haha

Maybe it because it makes people bigger, like the silluete ?
I'll try treats like you said if it ever happens again. The thing is the trail where ew jogg everyday is a big thing for foreign people ( i dont even know why lol ) and everyday we find people there just hiking some stop and pet him and he just sniffs them, ANYWAY im just yabbling, i will try your method, thaanks!
