Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! | Boy are we learning a lot. Thanks to all who love these wonderful additions to family. Our puppy Lakota was 6 weeks old when we got her that Saturday afternoon. She was small and never made a sound all night, and the next night the same. We thought it was odd that she was so quiet so early Monday morning we took her to the vet. SHOCK, he said if she lived 2 days she had a 50/50 chance of making it. She was eaten up with fleas and infested with many different types of worms, fortunately no heart worms were present. She weighed 4.4 lbs at 6 wks old. The good news is that she has fully recovered and is healthy and happy now and now weighs 26lb at 12 weeks. All this being said I wish to say "never give up on your Husky, they never give up on you". We have learned a lot in a short time and are still learning. We did turn in this person to the police for their treatment of their animals.

| Wow! That is so sad she came to you in such terrible condition, but her recovery sounds amazing. I can't believe she weighed only 4.4 lbs! Welcome to the forum and I can't wait to see pix of your little girl. |

| Wow, so intense. Sounds like you and her are a perfect match. They say we find our dogs and they find us for a reason. Congrats on her awesome recovery |

| Welcome! Thank you for reporting those people to the police. It sounds like they didn't take her to the vet for her puppy shots. Lakota is beautiful! |
