| So I just moved into a new apartment complex and there's a small fenced in "dog park" area. I walked past it this morning while walking Pippa as a woman walked up with her dog and asked if Pippa could play. I said sure and let them play for about 15 minutes. It was nice, the lady seemed knowledgeable enough, and she told me that there was a group that usually met there around 6 every night. So tonight on our bike ride, I saw that there was a small group of people there (and about 6 dogs), so we stopped. As I started to walk towards the fence, a few of the dogs completely lost it and started barking pretty aggressively, but they all assured me they were just excited. Once we got in, Pippa started playing with the retriever she played with this morning. A guy had his dog by the collar, sitting on the bench. He walked over to Pippa (after leashing his dog), so they could "meet." He sniffed Pippa, but she was mostly disinterested in him. A few minutes later the dog (still leashed) started to sniff Pippa again, but then went at her. He was snarling, lunging towards her. Pippa turned around and gave him a warning snap and ran off. It happened again a few minutes later and Pippa snapped back again and then tried to woo-woo at him. I decided to leave at that point, because I didn't think the dog was going to settle down and I was already on-edge (which probably wasn't helping). They all told me the dog normally didn't have a problem, and told me I should come back and try again, but I'm not sure. On one hand, I'd love to be able to use the resource in the apartment complex, but not if there's (what seems to be) an aggressive dog there all the time. On a lighter note, Pippa seems to have settled pretty well into the new place. And no accidents yet! I was a little concerned we might have a small setback in the apartment, but she seems to be doing well so far. |

| My friends bull dog was like that when he met Loki. The bull dog went on short run and was better when he came back on second try and we walked them together. They seem to want to work with you. Maybe ask to take short walk with dogs together and see if it calms them both down. |
