| Well, the x back makes me nervous. But I am trying to get over it. Huskies can slip easily out of an xback if they back up out of it. The more I work with her, she won't ever think of backing out of it. |

| You can get a belly band for the harness that helps deter backing out. I opted for that on Layla's X-back just in case, and it's worked really well. |

| Where did you get it from? There was no option for the xback we got from Nooksack like that ... I do really like the one we got though, it has padding and reflective strips! I thought it was snazzy haha. I thought about getting one from Alpine, but I only wanted to order from Alpine if I got something important sled related... (wanted to escape another shipping fee haha) So I only ordered from Nook and Black Ice. Nook was out of booties, so I am waiting for them to get a shipment in to send me my 2 sets. |

| Renee- I hope you guys get some snow too! The weather has been odd this year for everyone... It was seriously -16 here the other morning (without windchill added, if added it was like -30! ) Hughie- She is such a polite dog ~~most of the time~~ I have taught her to sit when I am standing and not walking (probably from our walks) so it was her first thought while I was doing that to just sit... not sure if you can tell from the photo, but she was hooked up to my alpine hands free musher belt so I could do all the hooking... lol. Otherwise she probably would have taken off. She just has really good leash manners. Amy- Thank you! It is a blast! Still thinking of maybe trying out sledding too? |

Layla's X-back is from Alpine. Nooksack is also a really good brand. I think they have better customer service than Alpine, to be honest, but I liked the options available for the Alpine harnesses. |

Derp, I didn't see you asked about the sled. I do like it, Okami seems to pull it fine. The turning is difficult with it, I have to kick off the ground to make it turn otherwise I go into the snow banks and thus slowing her down and then she squirrels (loses interest) I am not sure if I like it being wood... it makes a lot of rickety sounds, I may invest in a metal one next year IDK lol... but it is great to get started and learn with. |

| Lol np, and thanks for the feed back, definitely interested in investing one for myself. I can imagine it takes practice haha. I can understand the wood being noisy, hmm only bad thing I can imagine with metal is rust? Love seeing the sled pics should do a video! Hahaha sunny sib up XD Okami is such a sweet looking girl |

| Try leaning and bending, putting weight on the outside runner to help follow the turn. Can't really think how to explain it any better.. sorry. And they make these things called "Mittens" or "Gloves" they keep your fingers from freezing and falling off, you might want to look into getting some. |

So we walked around my back yard (My yard is huge BTW ) It was a ton of fun. The Red husky is Sedona. She is 3 years old. They hit it off on their first playdate pretty well |

We had a lot of fun today for sure! |

| Lookin' good, Lucy! That cover on the ottoman in the "horsing around" video? So how long do you give it before it becomes a favorite tuggy toy |

| Yeah... Gaia wears her out lol.
Gaia FINALLY ate her food... I was beginning to get worried. Christina told me that she has always been a finicky eater, but Okami had eaten 3 times before she finally ate :/ ... Glad that she finally decided to. Didn't want to go to the vet so early lol. I think she is going to be okay, and hopefully she learns that when I set that food down she better eat soon lol. |
