Forum Rules | 1. Here we prefer clarity to agreement. Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect. 2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff. 3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned. 4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. Please PM a staff member with any questions or concerns regarding this rule. |

| Subject: Mylo's preference? Fri May 22, 2015 4:13 pm | |
| So I've been wanting to post about the following… Mylo seems to like to bug my girlfriend and not me. What do I mean by bug her? For example when were eating, he has never bothered me but when she's eating he sits right next to her and sometimes jumps up depending on what food it is. Were eating the exact same thing but he prefers to bug her and not me. I have no explanation for her lol And also anytime shes walking around the house, Mylo is like a velcro next to her too but no so much with me, so I like to tell my girl that maybe Mylo feels more attached to her that maybe he feels more entitled to her and her things? He also loves to grab her underwear/socks when they are loose on the floor or course but not mine haha. My girlfriend and I love him equally so its not like my girl doesnt love him or hate him or anything. So does anyone else go through this with their sibe? just wondering if this is a thing haha |

| I think it's natural for dog's to gravitate towards one person more than another. Sounds like it could be a couple reasons (my theories at least): 1. Do you live together? If you do, does she do any more of the "fun" stuff than you such as feeding or treats? Or is she more easily persuaded by the puppy eyes to share her food? He could just be associating her with more yummy things. 2. If you don't live together, it could be that he sees her less than you and because of that seeing her when she is there is the "treat". Bode goes through phases of who he is more attached to. For a good long while it was me. But I do the majority of care for him (Anthony may argue with that, but it's true). Though the past few months he seemed to be more cuddly with Anthony. Recently though it seems to be swinging back around to me. Anthony keeps joking that since Bode seems to be "my" dog, Logan is going to be "his". Yeah, I wouldn't bet on that |

Mylo stays with me at my house and we go over to my girlfriends house for the whole day. So basically our days are spent in my girls house and we just go to my house to sleep haha. Anyways, yes my girl falls for his puppy eyes and shares little yummy things sometimes…I never have, I only let him lick my hands after a meal. Our houses are about 2 miles apart thats why were able to be together so much. |
