Just a general wondering. Seem to have been blessed with an 11 week old puppy who only wakes up once, if that during the night! I was expecting to be stood outside at all times but the last few nights hes slept til 7! Does it last?? Smile

Like human babies, puppies do sleep a lot. After corresponding with other members who have had longer experience raising huskies, I've also learned that it doesn't take as much play time/exercise to tire out a young husky as it does when they're older. Enjoy it while it lasts! I have been preparing for the days when it wont just take a 15 minute walk around the block or 30 minutes of tug of war for Lutsen to be satisfied Smile.

Gabby was pretty good at going to bed at around 10-11 pm and sleeping until 5-6 am. (My sleep schedule.) She did pee in her crate once over night at around 10 weeks so I tried setting an alarm to get up at around 2 to let her out. Did that a couple nights, then stopped and she never peed in her crate over night again. From 8 weeks old until 2+ years old, she has yet to pee in her crate overnight. Was horrible at potty training during the day though. Took us until she was about 4-5 months old to get her fully trained and she had a small relapse at around 7 months old for a couple weeks.

She slept a lot though. 10-15 minutes of play needed a 2 hour nap. Was a wonder until about 1 year old. Then she really got energy. Sleeps through the night still though.

Lutsen usually sleeps through the night like Gabby. If he does need to go potty in the middle of the night he'll usually let out a little howl or give us a cue of some sort. I'd say the only time that really happened though was when we first got him 8-10 weeks and then last week my boyfriend and I both had the flu a couple days so we were going to bed at like 8am and not waking up until 8-9am. Understandably that is a long time for him to hold it so we would get up a couple times with him those nights to let him out.
