|Husky of the Month|
Congrats Nikita, Archer, and Cheyanne,
our November HOTM Winners!
Thanks to all for this month's entries!
|1. Here we prefer clarity to agreement. Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect.|
2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.
4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. Please PM a staff member with any questions or concerns regarding this rule.

It's been awhile since I've been on here. I've been gone for some time, as overall my activity on internet forums has dropped over the last few years. I'd like to attribute my absence to training under Tibetan monks for many years studying the ancient and sacred arts of memes, but unfortunately the boring reality is closer to a busy college life. I've stayed in contact with some of you over the years on facebook - where I'm sure I've unduly plastered your walls all too much with my caffeine induced Libertarian rants, succumbing to the stereotype of that guy who argues with everyone on social media. But since it's been around 2-3 years since I was last truly active on this forum and I'm sure a lot of people have come and gone, I'd figure I'd make a sort of "hello I'm back" thread. My dog is doing really well and I'm continuously thankful to everyone on this forum, you have all fundamentally impacted my development as a person. I was even lucky enough to have helped my older sister successfully raise a Husky of her own, here's a recent picture of them together:
Anyways I'll be lurking around, pondering deep philosophical questions - that have existed since the dawn of man - like on our profiles is the "Name" section for us and the "Owned By" for our dogs or is it the other way around? I'll also hopefully be able to give back to the community and help others if/when they have questions about huskies. See you around!

I'm on the same boat, Aidan! I don't hop on the forum anywhere near enough anymore. Life sure has a way of keeping us busy lol. Glad to see you're doing well!

Welcome back, Aidan! I honestly love your libertarian rants on FB and am glad someone has the stones (and time) to share the well thought out arguments that you do.
I too am not on here as much as I would like, life has a way of keeping us all busy in different ways.
I'm sure you've seen it on FB but we too have added to our family, but of the human variety...not the furry type.
Love the new pic of the furkids!
