Forum Rules | 1. Here we prefer clarity to agreement. Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect. 2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff. 3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned. 4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. Please PM a staff member with any questions or concerns regarding this rule. |

| Hello Friends!!!! I want to introduce our new puppy, Agate! She is named after Agate Beach (near Patrick's Point in Northern California- a very special place to us). We will call her "Aggie" as her nick name. She was born on March 1, 2019 and we pick her up May 5, 2019! I can't wait to share more photos and adventures with you! We are in the Indianapolis area and we are excited to set up some meet up once she's a little older! Let me know if you are in the area! -Sara & Jarrett |

| This is Aggies "older sister" and my heart dog, Bindie (named after Bindi Irwin). In 2015, I went through a horrible break up. I told my mom the only thing I wanted was to go to the pound and snuggle some puppies (we had, and still have another dog at home, Baxter, but he is not big on affection-- he is a border collie and just wants to work). My mom made me promise that we wouldn't come home with a dog, but when we saw Bindie we both melted and knew we had to bring her home. Bindie had previously been returned to the pound several times and finally her family stopped picking her up. She was bored and learned how to escape so she could run. It took a lot of time and a lot of training, but Bindie is the best dog we could have ever asked for. She is the sweetest, most loving, yet energetic and happy dog I have ever known. I can't imagine ever having a dog that's not a Siberian. I love their independence and many of the other traits that cause them to frequently be returned to the pound. My partner and I decided to get our first dog from a breeder so that we could have a better idea of what to expect (this is his first dog ever), but we have already started contacting some rescues in our area to become fosters in the future! Here are some pictures of Bindie! |
