| We usually do a call much earlier than this but time totally got away from me.
Each year for those that are interested we do a holiday card exchange. Doesn't have to be anything fancy and we do allow international participation (note: if you are outside the US and want to participate expect cards to run a bit slow and we may need extra info on how many stamps to add to get it all the way to you). This is a fun cheap way to fill your house with cute cards and pictures of huskies for the holidays.
How it works PM me your name and postal address and email address, and I will put it all together into a master list. When I close participation anyone who decided to play will get an email from me containing the list of names and postal addresses (I don't give out your email, and only those participating in the card exchange will get your mailing address). Then you send a card to all the folks on the list. Likewise you will get a card from all the people on the list.

No trace of my cards. Last tracking had them transferred from UPS to USPS mail innovasions in Urbancrest Ohio. Tried calling but all I got was a machine. Sister, who works at LL Bean mail order, complaint resolution, says the whole shipping industry was caught unprepared this year for the significant increase in shipped packages. says UPS alone has whole truckloads sitting, waiting, not being worked. She doesn't anticipate clearing the backlog until "a, while" after Christmas. So. Shall I wait for my cards to be delivered or send something now? I've received lovely cards from Jennifer, Jenn and Ronin. Thank you

Er, considering your earlier comment, is this as close as anyone's going to get to a card from you this year??? (( and that's a nice card .... )) _________________ “Properly trained, a man can be dog’s best friend.” Corey Ford .

No. Cards will be late. If this doesn't arrive, I'll do something else by end of week. I'm so utterly frustrated. And embarrassed!

Well...what do you know. Tracking is updated. Now says on 12/20, yes, FOUR days ago!!! Package transferred to post office in Rochester. If it was in Rochester 4 days ago, why the hell is it not here THREE days ago, which, btw, would have been the 21, only a day later than the "by" promised. Waiting for mail to be delivered. Of course, this is AFTER I spent hours last night fighting with walmart.com password and re-sizing, uploading photos for their photo app and choosing a card on photo paper that can be made in an hour and picked up. At least then, if it gets messed up, I have the satisfaction of stomping over to customer service and complaining. Plus. I am extra grumpy this morning. With the incredibly warm, for the season, weather this week, my family room wood stove is very sluggish this morning. Finally, in desparation, I squeezed in a 4th piece of wood to see if that would help. And, for whatever reason, that particular piece is wet and now sizzling. Which will clog up the elbow and now, tomorrow, I will have to disassemble and clean out. After I give it a good dose of ACS (anti-creosote) this afternoon. Grumpy puss, aren't I this morning

I really wanted to do custom cards this year but just couldn't get my butt in gear. We've had nice weather and all my focus went to nipping up the garden and prepping a truck for sale and we didn't get any good pictures taken. I learned my lesson a few years back on ordering cards. The last couple times I've done it I've taken my pictures on a flashdrive with me to Walmart and did their little instant/one-hour photo machine. They will print cards now. I don't usually need a whole ton of them so it works out for me. I can do through the layouts on the machine with the touch screen. Put my pictures in the layout that fits them best and they usually print instantly. prices seem comparable to anything I could have shipped to me as well. I enjoy seeing everyones fun cards and pictures regardless of when they arrive. Almost all of my gifts this year came from online so I'm glad I didn't wait too long on getting them ordered. I was a little worried when fedex severed ways with amazon on flights but so far it hasn't seemed to impact our prime really. _________________
