Just wanted to honor my boy of 14 yrs crossed the rainbow and now 2 grumpy old men (my father passed away late Jan 11) and now my boy is with him. He was my companion thru my worst days and I miss him so much!! Loved him sooo miss him tooo much.

Nope, there is no easy way to bid farewell to one who has been a companion for so many years.  At my age, I've had to say that "Goodbye" way too many times and it's always painful.  I'm sorry that he's not right beside you but he'll be there in memories for a long, long time -- and you'll remember only the good ones.

I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my girl almost 2yrs ago and i still miss her every day.
the first few weeks are the worst then you start to remember the better times, not the good bye.
