Forum Rules
1. Here we prefer clarity to agreement. Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect.
2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.
4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. Please PM a staff member with any questions or concerns regarding this rule.

When Bob was a pup I taught him two things; one was to open the doors needless to say keeping doors closed to keep him in or out is now a pointless exercise! But the other thing I taught him (and I was so proud of myself at the time) was to open draws (the ones with knobs) and now nothing in draws is safe - the fact that he has consumed most of my house -remotes, hairbrushes, slippers and parts of furniture etc. I got home today and he had raided my sons sweetie draw!! I wish I had taken a picture of the mess and him surrounded by sweets and papers! I could not even shout at him - I told him he was a "bad dog" - he gave me "the look" and my heart melted!

Please be careful with what the handsome Bob gets into. It would be horrible he ate something that he shouldn't and ended up needing surgery Sad Trust me when I tell you that Kody is the MASTER of eating things that he shouldn't and I need to be on top of him 24-7, but he's so sneaky that some times he'll get a hold of something. Does King Bob stay crated while you're at work?

Bobels is not crated ever - during the day he has the run of the garden and access to one "Bob-proofed" room. When my son gets home fom school Bob then has access to the rest of the house. He won't grasp the fact that he is not a puppy anymore!! If he was less boisterous - he would be allowed in the house all day with my maid - but she is scared of him - so i keep them separated.

Bayleigh often steals shoes, socks, indoor toys and lately a towel and brings them into the middle of the backyard and leaves them there. She's tried to steal a pillow, and a carpet runner we have in the kitchen. I'm pretty sure she gave up when they were difficult to fit through the doggy door.

I want to laugh because the mental picture of the dogs stealing things is a little funny. But at the same time, I worry about the dogs getting into things and end up getting sick. Remember you have a husky, and husky proof your house. For the sake of the dogs.

Shania took the cordless phone outside once and left it next to the tree. She also could up my mom's drawers. They have a bread drawer that they wouldn't normally keep the metal slide closed on it unless Shania was there. She opened it up and ate a whole loaf of bread. She would take bread over meat any day.

The only time Bob eats bread is when its dpped in gravy - otherwise he turns his nose up!

Max used to steal our shoes and place them on his bed. He didn't chew them up really bad. he would just put them on his bed. Duke on the other hand steals almost everything he can reach with his mouth or paws. He eats socks, scrunchies, paperwork, tupperware, etc. and my wallet. Fortunately he passes most of what he eats.

She has stolen my bed, this is what I walked into last night. I have a king size bed and she likes to hog it.

Bananas. Violet often steals my work snack as I am gathering up my stuff. Once, I placed my banana and water bottle on the window sill to...er...scoop poop, and when I was done, banana in Husky belly!
