Could be a shepherd mix, but it's hard to tell without more pictures and a better angle. I can definitely see husky in him, but other than that, I can't tell at the moment

Welcome and thanks for saving this boy! Get more pics and I'm sure the folks here can give you some thoughts as to his makeup. There are also some DNA test out there now if curiosity gets the best of you. They're not 100% accurate but give you some idea.

Congrats on saving him! i would say we need more pics to take a guess at the mix, but after he comes out of his shell you will see his behavior and it might help figure out the mix.

wow i love the light tan circles on his eyes! im going with tori and thinking shepherd, long muzzle and the tan... do they know for sure he is a mix?

Mostly husky IMO. Maybe some yellow lab or shepherd hard to tell. I'm sure others will weigh in with their thoughts. He's a good looking boy no matter what's in the mix!

Thank you! I couldn't think of the breed he reminded me of! Yellow lab was my other thought but I could think of it for some reason. Good suggestions!

He never told me if he was a mix or not I just kind of assumed he was, his coat kind of feels like shepard hair or lab hair and I didn't know if the brown on him was regular or not thats why I was wondering if it was a mix, so I really have no idea but any help is awesome

Also it was sad really when I got Koda he was malnurished and gross looking, he had never had any shots and no kind of paperwork. I am trying to turn his life around so far so good

He's gorgeous and look at those pretty eyes! He looks very, very husky! The tail is less fluffy and the fur is a bit short, so I think there's a little of something else in there. He reminds me of the alaskan racing huskies! Long and lean!

New owner here too! He is a precious pup, he does look like a shepherd mix, I have read that on a few comments as well. His tan coloring and tail kinda have that shepherd look to them!

How awesome is the feeling of saving a sweet pup.. I just love it! We saved our pup too, he is a beautiful crystal blue eyed baby, named Finn!
