Hey guys, I'm really hoping someone here can help.

I'm trying to help someone re-home 2 huskies. The mom's name is Ariel and she's probably around 3 (will get back with an exact age). Kenai is her son and he's approaching 8 months old (not neutered yet). Very loved by the family until they both killed 3 of their ducks; the husband is furious and wants them gone. The wife is devastated but has her hands tied. She's looking for a really great home and I thought I'd try here first. She is asking $200 each. They are apparently very well-behaved and sweet. She lives in North Carolina, so all of you in neighboring states please pass the word! If you are interested, please call her for more information!

These aren't the greatest pictures but at least you get a general idea of what they look like.

You may want to repost on the 5 sibes facebook page (pics help!) And also pass on the info to any husky crossposters on facebook in your area. Good luck!

You're very nice for helping out the wife!

Regarding the husband - <head desk> People like that make me want to scream! Your dog is doing what high prey drive dogs do. It's like punishing you for having a beer, dude! Argh!

Yea, I plan to upload pics once I get home. Can't do it from this phone it seems. The wife explained that the dogs were just doing what came natural but he didn't care. Sad

I was scrolling through that site, and if you go all the way down to the Kentucky section there is a young male who is great with other dogs and cats. Might be worth looking into, Mindy.

Sam, thanks for posting that.

Kenai is still looking for a home. Updating with the most recent picture she has of him. $150.

Here is a little about his personality:

"His personality is great. He gets along great with people and Ariel and Nemo. We also had my sisters yorkie here for a while training him and they got along great also. He likes to play a lot, but he will also lay down and be calm as well. Right now he is very curious about things. He loves to chase bugs around our porch light. He will stay in the kennel for us to sleep all night long without pottying. Every now and then he may have a accident, but very rare. After I get home they are all riled up for about an hour then they all calm down and lay beside me as I play on the computer. If he disappears I call his name and he returns right away. I make them all stay within eyesight of me at all times, so they are used to being right where I can see them. He knows basic commands. Sit, Lay, Stay for a short time period. He is quiet unless he needs to potty, then he will start whining or pacing and then he will bark some. He goes to the door to potty and will hold it for a long time. He will use a dog door if available, but I closed mine because huskies like to collect things outside. We have a kitten, but I don't allow the dogs to be totally alone with her, however he has not shown any aggression towards her at all. Just curiosity and wanting to follow her around. They have been nose to nose with no problems. He will fetch and bring it back most of the time. They have all been laying down quietly the whole time I have been typing this. He is always at my feet or close by. He is still a puppy even though he is big and needs constant supervision as such. He never chews on any furniture or the walls or base boards. He did when he was smaller, but that didn't last long. Usually he listens very well & learns quickly. He potty's outside on command with no waiting at all. I tell him to go poop & he does it. He will walk on a leash very well, but is excited at first and needs a little work on that. I have walked all three dogs by myself and they will stay in unison even for a jog. That is a lot of dog power for me and they never pull me. They love to jog with me. Kenai likes to pull at first, but once you get out he chills and stays right beside you. He also never chews on shoes. We did have a problem with socks for awhile, but he has not done that in a long time. I hope I broke him of that as well. Never chews on cords either. I think he is almost out of the chewing stage. If you have any more questions let me know!"
