I would at least file a report with the Better Business Bureau in the area. Also you could give them a negative review on Yelp, Foursquare or other popular social networking site they are listed on or even a complaint with the State Veterinary Board, it really is a form of malpractice to send an animal home in that condition.

Unfortunately, over the phone, people will ignore you. You have to actually go in person for anyone to take you seriously. I learned that the hard way.

If they don't want to give you the money back, personally, tell them that they have to put what you are owed in an account at the vet that is doing the surgery, to help pay for it. I've heard better luck with going about it that way.

I hope you can recoup some of the money you lost on that.

Do give them a back review on angie's list also..

We called twice both time we were hung up on.
W're going to call once more before we take further action, it's kind of a ways away so it's not easy to pick up and pay them a visit but if that's what has to be done, so be it.
My mom said i should also threaten them with a lawyer.
I just can't believe they simply hung up on us!

we left reviews on yelp and google, Angieslist has a monthly cost which we cant afford at this time (due to...well you know why)

now just to file with the bbb

That would be how you know it's a shady sketchy place. I don't know a single professional office that would do such a thing before even bothering to review the file or have the patient discuss it with the vet/doctor/etc. They probably get this a lot and hanging up is their way of dealing with it.

I would absolutely drop the lawyer bomb on them.

Back to Trillion - when does she get her next exam?

We were not told that we should bring her in again
(unless we wanted more meds/schedule her appointment.)

The good thing about our vet though is that they said her surgery includes xrays every other week for four months afterwords to make sure everything is going good on the inside. (we just found this out)

her rimdyl runs out on july 4th and her Tramadol runs out in three days

oh my god, the guy before who put in the huge donation set another one and donated the rest of the funds to get us to the 1,400 mark i am literary in tears (again) i am so thankful oh my god.

tomorrow morning first thing Ill be making a call out to her vet to schedule her surgery.
we will continue to raise money for the payments. but at least she can get it donee!!!!!!!!!

Great news..

Ahh. called the vet but they were closed and only have the emergency vet, which is like another office/not connected.

We will call them first thing in the morning and then update you guys on when she will be having her surgery,

I am just over the moon happy, i don't even know what to do with myself.
and all Trillions over here asleep as i bounce about the room lol
