Patience is all it should take to get her to accepting you. You have shown her you care with the water and time you have spent. She will come around very quickly for you. Kudos for helping her out! Means alot to her.
I do hope so, having 6 kids has taught me patience if anything, I dont mind sitting far away, as long as i know she has eaten before i have to go, and drank and that she will make it to the next day, its worth it to me, as soon as I get her she is going to the vet and getting a full blown check up and ultrasound, people have asked if Im going to keep her, and really i dont know right now, I havent thought that far ahead, right now my priority is getting her, and helping her.

Step 1: Save her, Step 2: find her the best place for her - no matter which way it is. But don't put yourself in a spot where it becomes a burden. There are groups that can help and everyday people also.

good luck and again- great job!!

Don't forget to bug the rescues on their facebook pages too! If you can foster her, I don't see why they wouldn't help.

I'm sorry i'm just seeing this now, this is terrible like a few others said the money is no issue you cant put a price tag on several dogs including the puppies theoretically you'd be saving more than one dog. But if you cant seem to get the money I would be willing to send it also wether its $5 or the $50 its only oney not more valuable then those dogs

It sounds very confusing that the lady does not take care of her but.... she will let you have all the history of her and such.. Rolling Eyes

trust me its very fustrating, but I only have to deal with this lady until I get the funds to get Skyy, the house and vet is all ready for her arrival. I gave the vet all the history as the lady gave it to me and we talked about all the things I can do to help her, he also suggested something called fat balls? I have yet to google it but he said there are alot of good recipes floating around the web.

Satin balls? Those are good for putting on weight and there are lots of recipes online.

This is just so sick. I mean you're essentially paying her to take care of HER dog! Obviously $50 is THAT important to this woman. More-so than the dog being safe, comfortable, and WELL FED prior to giving birth- which is her fault anyway. I mean what in the &$*%.

YES those, he hasnt seen her yet but he said if she is skinny its best to get weight on her before she has the pups, are there any recipes that are better than others?

And, Kristina, I know, it makes me sick and I want to rip the lady a new asshole everytime I see her but I have to pretend to be nice for now or Id worry that she would back out of the deal and take it out on Skyy.

Everyone will have their own preference for exact recipe, but the basics are pretty much the same. I tend to browse around and pick the one I like best or do a combo of different recipes, that's just me though.

Satin balls are a very old time cure to put weight on a dog fast. Be careful with them and really watch the gain, my greyhound went from way to thin to almost fat in no time lol.

Great thing you are doing!!! Stitches for your wings when you get to heaven!

Are you feeding raw currently? (For some reason I think you are..) I would give her mostly heavier raw meats such as beef and chicken with skin. Essentially satin balls are mostly ground beef but they're seared and cooked for most recipes.

I've got a skinny foster ATM and have been adding a bit of coconut oil as well as some of the others raw beef ground to meals.

Depending on who your bank is, someone can transfer money to you asap. I'm willing to pitch in half to get this dog out of her yard, ASAP. She needs to get to a vet. There's also Western Union Money In Minutes - I think Len mentioned WU before:

Apparently it contains an amino acid that's good for joints:

I can't help pitch in if it's with US banks Sad But still want too if needed, paypal would be the only way, though.

Any update on this? And I wonder if Interac e-mail transfer would work - could be an option along with WU?
