Forum Rules
1. Here we prefer clarity to agreement. Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect.
2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.
4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. Please PM a staff member with any questions or concerns regarding this rule.

I'm having a lag time when replying to some posts as well, but on my pc in chrome. Not sure if its my browser or what though. I'll clear my history and see if that helps.

Ditto.

Mine is laggy too.  I'll clear mine as well to see if it helps.

Edit - I also have chrome.

I'm having a hell of a time with Chrome on my work PC. Seems to be ok for now since Chris went in and tweaked things, and I'm going to see how it works on my Macbook at home (also Chrome).

it's fine on Safari - but as for the comment about old phones, Chris - it happens on my new iPad. LOL

Could just be an iOS conflict?

Which issue are you having specifically on your Ipad? The Jittering, stuttering, and flashing? This tends to be iOS specific I believe, but still more something on my end.

Or are you just referring to the lag?

The lag appears to be more universal than I had thought, as now PC users are reporting issues, not just mobile users.

It's something in the Java that is bogging down the site for the lag... I'm trying to pin point it.... but I obviously haven't yet.

I don't tend to have any of the issues, so it's hard for me to find the specific areas that are causing them ....

~Chris~

Yes me too. I'm not sure if this will help or not, but last night I opened the page on my ipad, then had to run out with Dizzy and when I came back the whole page was tiny on my ipad. Its almost as if it was trying to zoom out enough that it fit the screen of the device if that makes sense, so I could see the entire page without scrolling, but everything was tiny since it had to zoom out so far. So it seemed like the jittery stuff was just zooming out by tiny amounts until the view was 'fit screen.' I'll try it again tonight and see if I can get a screen shot.
