Forum Rules
1. Here we prefer clarity to agreement. Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect.
2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.
4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. Please PM a staff member with any questions or concerns regarding this rule.

So we went and picked out which female puppy would be our Calypso today, she is so lovely even though she is only 2 weeks old right now. The parents are both amazing dogs, in fact my 8 year old wanted to come home with the dad (Bullet) lol. My 4 year old was equally excited, but made best friends with a tiny little kitten the lady had haha. We are going back in 2 week intervals to see her until we can bring her home, so at 4 weeks we will see her again and we are really excited about that. She is very healthy, the parents are very healthy and she will be going to her first vet appointment on Sept. 3rd Smile.

So here are a couple pics from our visit today, I will get more in a couple weeks when she has her eyes open and might be more awake lol! Oh and I will add that we put this collar on her so everyone would know which puppy is ours, it is a cat collar though so that it has the safety latch on it. We gave her a bit bigger of a collar for when she grows out of that one.

And in the second pic is my 8 year old with Bullet, the father Very Happy

Thank you lillith Smile, I can't wait to go back in 2 more weeks and be able to hold her more and see her beautiful eyes, which have a big possibility of being blue, but the eye color doesn't mean much to us. What is most important to us is that the parents and Calypso are healthy.

Congrats! You must be sooo excited. We are getting a pup from a litter due next week and I'm already crawling out of my skin. The cat collar is super cute. Can't wait to see updated pics!
