Handsome boy! I love watching him grow. He looks like he's losing that puppy clumsiness and getting more graceful in his movement. He looks like he could make a good running and biking partner someday.

Thanks! He is definitely starting to lose the awkward puppiness and ocassionally can fool you into thinking he's not a big goofball!
The newfound bit of height that's hit has him looking his lankiest thus far, hard to tell in the photo but he's going through the thin and leggy stage.

Crap, almost forgot about these! I'm horrible at updating this thread (I do it way too often, haha)
Doom getting his butt kicked at the park the other day, lol.
Husky hangs! The guy at the top of the second photo was supposedly a husky/mal/wolf mix. I always take the whole "my dog is part wolf" statement with an extreme grain of salt (ie, most people are full of shit) but that dude does look quite wolfy. Black tip tail, too. Beautiful, regardless!

Beautiful pics, they had loads of fun. Next time you see wolf man, check his toe nails, most husky/wolves will have black toe nails, if same color as Doom, then nope, although black tail tip intrigues me (looks like some white there though), also his tail and size screams husky, don't real see mal or wolf. hmmmmm. Got me guessing a little. Of course your guy is the stand out of all the pics!

I agree, his coat pattern is very wild and he's unique looking but I don't think there is any wolf in there. I see that all the time around here, "wolf/whatever" puppies on Craigslist and they look nothing like wolf pups and are out of season, and people just thinking or saying they have a dog with wolf in it just "because". I suppose that's probably common everywhere.

Love the Husky hang pics! Looks like you've captured a lot of fun doggy personalities. I love all the dogs in the second pic -- such beautiful colors.

Doom hurt his leg about two weeks ago and the vet told us to keep him inside and off his leg, which was basically a bit of a nightmare. But, he was finally feeling better so we took him on a short little hike yesterday morning.
He loves water unless it's a bath..
Happy puppy!
A little family selfie.. Well, minus our 5 year old who was in school...
He will be 7 months on the 10th and he's currently 45lbs, but he's very lanky and skinny. I have a feeling he's either gonna be over the 60lb standard or real close.

Aww, so glad Doom is up and about, enjoying non-bath water! His eyes are beautiful...you have a gorgeous Siberian, Jeff! Cute family selfie, too.

I didn't realize Arkansas was so woodsy. Beautiful! Looks a lot like some places here in New England. Glad Doom's better and back out on the trails.

Haha, yes, Arkansas is very woodsy. Not "The Natural State" for nothing. I always think upstate NY looks very similar in some areas. A little bit colder up that way, however.

Agreed! I grew up in Upstate N.Y. and my parents live in the Adirondacks. Talk about woods ... and COLD!

A quick update.. Coming up on 8 months early next month. He's big but definitely still lanky and silly. Getting colder out and he's loving it. Spending way more time outside. Also starting to mark his territory on walks and at the park, which he never did before. Growing up, waaaahh!

First snow for Doom. Mostly ice, but he's partying nonetheless. 10 months old now. 50 pounds as of a few days ago. Growing up! Bout time to neuter, lol.

What a super handsome boy! I wish we'd get some snow down here in Louisiana.
I would love to go up to Arkansas for some nice camping and hiking. So beautiful!

It's definitely lovely up here in the northwest part of AR. Lots of camping and trails to be had! This is the first "snow" we've had all year. It's mostly been between 50-70 with the occasional below freezing days. Very warm winter.

He's growing up nicely!! Love snow pics, now if we could get some instead of ice.......love his freckles on his nose!
Been slacking on this for a while, but, Doom turned one this month! He's turning out to be quite the handsome, albeit goofy and big-eared, fellow.
His favorite spot in the living room is staring out the window.
Considering weening him off the puppy food, but not really sure when the right time is. Anyone else start switching to adult food around one or should I wait a while? He seems like he's got some filling out to do still, despite weighing 50 pounds (maybe more now).
He has such brilliant coloring, lovely deep red. He is a very handsome guy. There is no problem switching to an all life stage dog food, he'll be fine, I switched my girl at around one also. Happy Birthday Doom!! and thanks for the updated pics.

Doom's developed so well! As for the food, you should take him off puppy food now that he's a year old. He should be eating adult food or an all-life-stages food now. Puppy food has too much fat for an adult diet.
