Here she is ready to come back in and get warm after getting her first taste of snow
Lucy's Scrapbook Img_2010

She's FOREVER trying to get our other Dog "Buddy" to play, Buddy acts like an old fart, he's only 6y/o

Lucy's Scrapbook Img_2011

She also LOVES to play tug-of-war, our little Papillon "Mavis" tries her best lol!

Lucy's Scrapbook Img_2012

One of her other favorite things to do, sleep on the cold tile floor

Lucy's Scrapbook Img_2013

Her first good shedding...that was fun!  NOT

Lucy's Scrapbook Img_2014

Riding Shotgun

Lucy's Scrapbook Img_1110

Just chillin' on the back deck, staying out of the hot VA summer

Lucy's Scrapbook Img_1210

That's probably plenty for now!  Thanks for looking

Beautiful pup. It takes time for other dogs to figure out how huskies play. My girl forever wanted to play with my old male and he just was never sure about her. Would just turn away from her and lay down every time she got excited.

Lucy is beautiful! I love her coloring/markings. Pic of her in the snow really brings it out. The sleeping on the tile floor is a familiar sight to me, haha. Great pics

Thanks for the nice comments - she is a beautiful girl for sure, but I'm biased. We are enjoying her energetic and sweet demeanor. I'm enjoying running with her too which we just started up now that she's old enough. The energy level and speed of the Siberian Husky still AMAZES me every time. What I love is she is happy doing an all out sprint or just walking and sniffing EVERYTHING.

This is a common sight in our house, Lucy trying to get Buddy to "play", he is LAZY!!! LOL  Even as a pup, Buddy likes to just "chill".

He will eventually get some energy (he's only 6) and wrestle around with her outside. In other news, Lucy keeps getting bigger!

She is growing up beautifully too! I think you need to get another husky so Buddy can chill and just watch them play Wink

It's all fun and games until someone gets a paw to the face...that someone is usually me. She seems far more gentle about goading someone to play than mine are. Cute pics.

Funny you say that, I was watching my 4 and 7 y/o sons playing around with Lucy yesterday with her favorite toy, wrestling around what not, but it just made me happy knowing they have that type of dog to grow up with play with. Just have to put up with the HAIR! lol

The hair you will get used to, hahaha.

I have a pic, of one of my past huskies here in my backyard, a family friend was here and his daughter wanted to go in the pool, I have one of those floating pool chairs and the little girl, maybe 6 or 7 (?) was sitting in it near the edge of the pool, my husky, his name was Blitz, is standing with hind legs still on the flagstone but his front legs are on this floating chair (with the water moving it back and forth minding you) and he's leaning in to give the little girl a *kiss* . It's such a sweet picture to me of how huskies really have such trust and caring for "little people" Wink every single one of my huskies, past and present, when hearing a child's voice will stop what they're doing and listen, and the look on their faces is the same each time. You did good getting Lucy Smile

She finds every vent in the house when temps get warm

Lucy's Scrapbook Lucy_o10

She donated some fur after grooming fun

Lucy's Scrapbook Groomi10

Here she decided that Buddy needed to share, so she flipped his bowl over...poor Buddy, he puts up with her antics...he drops the hammer though when he's had enough!

She is very protective of her toys lol

Mine have started donating fur as well. I've got a bird feeder that's wire, for holding the suet cakes, and I put their fur in it and hang it on the back porch. Birds come in and take the fur from it for nests.
