2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.
4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. I recently built a platform for the back seat.  I suspect that something similar could be fabricated for many vehicles.  This was NOT my idea; picked it up from a truck forum that I can't link to thanks to my newness.  I will link to it once I've earned my keep.

I have been mulling over something similar for my explorer. There's a gap between the back seat and the middle seat when they are all laid down that the dogs tend to fall in. Just haven't worked out getting it in and out of the truck since it will have to be so big and I have to be able to still lift one of the seats up so they can get in. Is that outdoor carpet you wrapped it in? It looks like it's working well.

I have a Ford Escape and when the seats are folded down, it looks almost just like this! Except the back part of the back seat is leather, luckily they don't climb on it. First time I rode with the dogs, I didn't fold down the seats and didn't take much braking to send Mishka slipping forward so a set up like this is essential! Nice job!

It is outdoor carpet, yes. The plywood is 1/2" MDF (overkill but it's all the store had in that size). Took an hour just to pick up wood, hinges, and carpet in Home Depot because everybody wanted to love on doggo.

It's worked fantastically so far. I have since put holes on the backboard to clear the seat latches which I use to anchor her.
