It's just the algorithms. But a DSLR plus greasy treats plus posing without my foot in the photo... phone cam is my default. I need to install a fixed (waterproof) tripod in the lower yard where the action is. Also by the pool, because Sophia is playing in the shallow end with Grant now. Two soggy doggies!

Had the day off today for the holiday so in between painting, I got to hang out with my pups! Super windy AND cold today, surprisingly the pups werent too happy about that! Anyways, got some cute pics of them...

Today was Kohdi's birthday, he turned 5. He had a good day, despite the rain. We went to the pet store and he picked out some toys and treats...and he managed to snag a treat from the bin when I wasnt looking, and and laid down and proceeded to eat it! Ugh, I can't believe he is 5 already

@amymeme Thank you so much, Amy! Time...it just goes by too fast I got Kohdi the month after Malukhai died, and now Kohdi is the age of Malukhai when he died. I just keep thinking, how could this even be possible!

Look Mishka! Dinner! One for you, two for me!

These pictures are so beautiful - especially on the PC instead of my phone!!! What you have done with your pool is incredible and I am insanely envious. Not that we could ever do that here - the ground is horribly unstable and any concrete work would heave and settle continuously leaving a cracked mess.

Kohdi definitely looks to be contemplating whether the ducks are worth the swim

@amymeme thank you so much, Amy! My mom designed this pool itself (this is the home I grew up in) I only did the flagstone, and landscaping around it. I couldn't imagine this yard without the pool, I like how natural it looks compared to most other pools.

I've seen your pool, Any, in pics, I love it, especially its surroundings with the grass and trees.

Mishka is a very intense "Hunter" ...however, once Kohdi got that bunny, he has surprised me with what he goes after now, and it's so out of the blue, unlike Mishka who will tippy toe and stalk, Kohdi just suddenly leaps into the air after a bird, or pounces on bushes he hears something in. It's cool to see how different their minds work with stuff like this.

Ah, the rest of the story! I've watch the insta photos, but this is fantastic. Ducks in your pool must have made Kohdi and Mishka so happy. Haha
