Hi Jimmy, although I have not posted, I am always perusing the posts, enjoying all the photos and learning new things from all questions posted, and answered by the experienced husky owners here. I know exactly what you mean about them being happy. They have this innate "Joie de vivre" which we love and brings so much joy. I

@PollyR Im glad you are still here and yes! their happiness makes us happy! A lot is said about how frustrating this breed can be but I also think Husky owners are also some of the happiest @Misty Mia Husky Thank you Faye! Kohdi absolutely loves our little hikes! Mishka is more...meh, LOLOL BUT she seemed to love going with Kohdi (usually I take them seperately) and I think it helped a lot having Jenn and Ken along with us too More pics from the mountain and a few others afterwards... Kohdi had enough of the pics here, LOL Kohdi spent much of the rest of the day chilling here by the pool...I didnt hear a peep out of them for hours! It was nice All good things must come to an end and so it was with these two...getting back to their normalcy, haha Aw C'mon! you STILL taking pics??? Not sure what to make of this expression, LOL

Thanks Jennifer, you were awesome guests. Hope you can make it back sometime. Have a great time on your Mt, Ranier hike! And no, kitchen sink still doesn't drain right. Started my new job Monday so sink has been last thing on my mind, haha. It'll get done this weekend though. Kohdi, Mishka, and my mom say "hey!" and thank YOU for going with me on the walk and mountain "hike", it was cool!

@Mersea Lopez Here is Malukhai, he was my Husky with the heaviest mask...first couple pics show what I meant with the coloring between the eyeliner and the mask that leads me to the theory on how much mask stays, and how much kinda disappears. (I really miss this dog ) 8 weeks I think like 10 weeks Im thinking 12 weeks but not sure 4 months maybe ...Id have to look at the dates the pics were loaded, and it was hard enough to go thru these pics without tearing up And now I skip to just about a week before he died at 5 years old

What a gorgeous boy! I do see what you mean about the white space, and I agree. It is clearly this beautiful boy is the puppy pictured because the mask is identical, just spread out with the Husky's growth--going by weight, 4-5 times the size change. I'm so glad you posted this, as I wanted to see him. And his mask looks like what the breeder is selecting for at present in the 10!new puppies under 1 year she's keeping. He was lovely, Jimmy.

Thank you Chris. I will miss this dog til the day I die, we were very close When he died, a part of me died too. Anyways, I think when there is color, instead of white, between the eyeliner and mask, it means the mask is all part of the headpiece, like its "one" whereas when there is white, anything can happen!, lol. Seriously, Kohdi's mask I think surprised me the most between puppy and now. And he had white between the eyeliner and "mask"

Yes, I think Kohdi's mask is lovely, and its progression was very interesting. He's one of the most unique I've seen.

I was going to wait til I had pics to post before I responded to you all, but I started a new job and things have been crazy so I havnt taken pics really, but I don't want you all thinking I'm ungreatful so thank you all!!! @loki_said_smile thank you! Kohdi IS big on pouncing, lol. I especially love when he gets into position to launch, he gets down and just bunches up to this ball of fluff, he turns into like half his size he bunches himself up so tight, lol. @RedFlashFire05 LOLOL, that face in that pic gets me too! Hahaha. He's running up the canyon slope and has to leap to get onto the grass area, so that's his face when he's about to launch, lol...what I've been trying to do is catch him in the air but I keep mis-timing it. I've never seen your bunny! Do u have pics of him here? @Mersea Lopez thank you! He's guarding against a, ugh, I forget if it's a centipede or millipede, but they're gross looking. They're like dark brown and all...wormy looking, blech, they're gross looking. After any deep soaking rain the last few years now, they start appearing in the backyard, a couple have made it into the house (my fault for leaving the doors open) I read up on them and they're harmless but I can't stand seeing them. Lasts a few days and then they're gone again. @Misty Mia Husky thank you! I have never consciously sought out a fluffy coated husky, but I do end up with them so it must be a look I subconsciously like in a husky. And yes! I love giving hugs to these two, especially their ultra fluffy necks, lol. Luckily they like hugs, hahaha. Misty has a gorgeous coat, her coloring is awesome, I really love it. And I'm sure Misty is still awesome to ruffle and squish without the extra fluff. She looks like a total sweetheart

Thank you, Chris! I need to get more video of him woo wooing, I deleted a bunch of them by accident when I was cleaning up my iPad With the reflections, I just liked the way he looked standing there, lol. He just looks "snowdog" I love when I can capture him like that, the reflection was just a bonus and Mishka, just so not interested in Kohdi's yakking, lol.

Yes, woo videos are awesome! I like the reflection shots, and take some of Grant at times, but the action shots are even more interesting. Kohdi does look snowdog massive in the latest photos.

@Mersea Lopez he does look...sturdy, LOL. When jbealer came to visit, one of the first things she told me was how, in pics, Kohdi and Mishka's size difference isn't that big, but seeing them in person, it's very noticeable. So I asked her, is it because Kohdi is really big, or is it cuz Mishka is so small? She said its cuz Mishka is so tiny. Kohdi is smaller than her boy, Jack, and Mishka is actually smaller than her girl, Sierra. That surprised me cuz I really thought they were pretty comparable in size judging from her pics. @RedFlashFire05 thank you Ronin! Can't wait to see your bunny pics a few of my neighbors have bunnies as pets, one house, their bunny keeps escaping and roaming the neighborhood! With the predators around here, both on the ground and in the sky, they are lucky nothing has happened to him. They are super cute though
