Lee and I adopted Evo after losing our 10 year old German Shepherd/Mastiff.

Below you will see our sweet boy and a couple of shot with his "big" sister, Kira - our Parsons Jack Russell.

Having a sweet treat with Dad and Kira! He will knock the watermelon out of Lee's hand and just chow down! LOL He's not at all aggressive with his food (unless it's meat and only if other dogs get in his kennel - Lee, myself and the cats can touch his food, but that's it)

Thanks! I hope I posted in the right part of the forum! We have enjoyed looking at everyone's Husky pics and seeing bits of Evo's personality - loads of laughter knowing he's more Husky than we realized!

Oh Yes - that is certainly a husky trait

Interesting! I didn't know it was a husky trait... I wish I could sleep like that and not wake up with a sore back/neck!

My husky is sleeping like that right now. lol

Thanks, everyone! He's quite taken with that chair! He decided to test boundaries at my in-laws this week and they didn't say no - sooooo...when empty, Evo takes over! Right now he's stretched out at the foot of my in-law's full sized guest bed - and his length is 3/4 the width of the bed! I swear he's grown since we got here!

If you're interested in knowing more about Evo's antics he does have a facebook page (I know - too much time on my hands - but he does such funny stuff, I had to share!) - It's under Evo Stafford. Thanks! His teeth are very white and huge! He's finally grown into those paws - but when he has his weight on them they are massive! LOL

Lee and I try very hard to keep his teeth clean but he won't let us do anything that is like an inspection on him. We can put our hand in his mouth but as soon as we start looking around his eyes, ears or mouth in a -*whispers* vet - sort of way, he keeps moving his head to prevent it.

I love sleeping Evo. lol Such a cutie. If you're not feeding raw then I'd suggest getting Evo used to having his teeth looked over and cleaned as soon as possible to make things easier on you, but be sure to do it in baby steps and make it positive.

Then we're good! Evo only eats raw - usually one chicken a day. Every now and then he'll get a steak a clean the bone off!

His paws are huge though, huh? LOL the question is... How much bigger will he get?!?!

Well since you're feeding raw then you won't need to do any additional dental care, his diet will take care of that. Lucky you.

Check out the dental issues under the topic of medical issues. I already confirmed with a vet that it is the best to brush daily if you can.

My first vet told me that dogs needed to have their teeth brushed daily and my eyes almost popped out of my head. LOL Prior to my vet telling me this I had been brushing my sibe's teeth once a week. But since I'm good at following orders I've been brushing my dogs teeth every day. If only I followed my own dentist's orders.
