Actually- just ordering one shirt off of cafepress isn't that expensive... if we're concerned over quality, I suppose I could order one shirt to test it out.

on cafe press cant you make it so that we each can go on and order our own shirt? that way you don't have to ship them to all of us?

I'm looking into it. It makes me nervous though. I wish I knew someone that has done it before because I don't want to have to start worrying about tax stuff, etc.

i have ordered my bumper stickers and an ornament from them and thought the were good and the bumper sticker still has all its color after 1.5yrs!
maybe we just don't donate the money for the shirts and just do the on the calendar maybe?

I have ordered a few shirts and other items from cafe press, and they have held up great. I have one that is almost two years old and it still looks great. None of the design is pealing or flaking at all. But I've never created a shirt there, so not sure how that works.

So the cafepress store (creating our own for the forum so you can buy individually) isn't worth it, but ordering in bulk from cafepress would be. The ONLY thing I cannot do is the curved text, but if someone is good in photoshop and wants to do the pawprint in photoshop as a GIF and append the curved website to it, I can upload the whole image to the shirt and it WOULD be the same.

As one whole image? Or in layers? I could probably do that in less than an hour. Depending on how distracted I am...

Jenn is working on it now But one image once it's saved... it doesn't matter what the layer is as long as the whole image is saved

Okay- same design, same basic color.... everything the same as above but $20/shirt with CafePress (shipping, included).

SO... I'm going to start a new thread for orders. With CafePress we can do white tanktops with just the "A fun, friendly..." just above the logo, gray short-sleeved shirts (as above), or gray long-sleeved shirts (as above).

I will start the thread tomorrow as I'm a little tired of t-shirts today So if you have any further comments, questions or concerns, place them here tonight!

Once I open the ordering thread, I'll give everyone a week to decide if they want to order by replying to the thread. Then everyone will get one more week to paypal me the money. With a wedding coming up folks, I don't have the money to front the whole cost of the shirts. So if you want a shirt, I must be paid in advance. Otherwise, I'd be happy to give you the link to the shirts in the future and you can order them yourself off of cafepress for the $20 but no portion of your money will go to the charity.

Sounds fair enough. You might leave ordering open for a little over a week though for those that might not check in as often, just a thought. Somehow I'll need to break this news to the hubby and now is not the best time.

Tank top= $20
short-sleeved= $20
long-sleeved= $25

The long-sleeved is the most expensive and that cost only covers the shirt. It won't cover any donation money. That will be up to the purchaser's discretion.

The tank and the short-sleeved prices each include about $5/each of donation money in the $20 price tag.

All prices include shipping + tax.

If we need more time, I'm sure that can be arranged. However, from experience, if this doesn't get done soon, people will lose interest. If people lose interest, the price goes up for everyone... I will give as much time as I can, but I don't want this to go on for much longer than a couple of weeks so that the prices remain reasonable and I don't get stuck with a huge bill

ETA: I think the order is going to be much easier if we stick to the unisex sizing. Women's shirts bump the price up a lot (for some reason they don't have the same color options and anything close is considered a "dark" color and becomes almost $10 more expensive).
