I woke up from a nap on Saturday to find the package laying on my lap. Tommy had gotten the mail & set it so I'd find it when I awoke. I didn't really notice it tho, have to admit...he had to pointedly look at the package a few times before I caught on! Hey...I was still sleepy!

Anyway....LOVE the shirt & am looking forward to cooler weather so I can wear this long-sleeved shirt.

No worries! It gave me a good laugh!

Can someone in CO please contact Tara from Mile High? I don't want to hold on to this money for too long when we have a lot of other rescues that could use it. I'm sure she would love the donation, but I need to get in touch with her in order to give it.

She's had almost a week. I texted her last night. I'll try emailing her. If I don't get a response by the end of the week, we'll discuss what to do. I know rescues need the money, but I don't think a week is unreasonable to wait (and Friday would be over a week).

Do whats best. I noticed that their FB page has not had a post since July 4th, might be vacation but who knows. I did see you post on their wall on the 7th without a reply.

I've posted, texted her and now I will email her. If someone can find out if she's on vacation, I would be happy to wait.

That's unlike her to not respond within 24 hours. But I also think a week to respond is MORE thank reasonable. If she was on vacation, there should be another person answering phone calls, I would think.

I'll check to see if she's on vacation or what's up....

Tara sent me an email a few weeks ago. I sent her a reply email a few hours later the same day and never got a reply back from her which I thought was odd.

I decided not to send another email because it seemed like Tara's personal info. I'm going to wait a couple of hours and try calling the number that Claudia gave me (it's different than the one Kate gave me).

I'll keep you all posted on what I hear and let me know if anyone hears from her.

I just got off the phone with Tara. She is overwhelmed with the rescue but she says she will be calling me back later this afternoon.

The donation is really going to help! I'm taking Hilde back to the vet this
afternoon. She had surgery on her feet and it's not healing very well. She
had dual dew claws removed from both of her hind feet during her spay. It's
best to do it when they're young because they're more like finger nails and
not connect via bone yet. Unfortunately, her incisions aren't healing well
even though she's on antibiotics and I'm changing her bandages daily. This
donation comes at a great time! THANK YOU!!

I loved doing the shirts, but I KNOW with the wedding in 3 months (Eeeee!) I will NOT have the time! I would love to see the calendar proceeds go to another rescue organization in a similar fashion!
