omg this thread is just way too adorable and hilarious! I just love it! Too bad the posts with pics don't have a "like" or maybe a "love" button!! I do have to say that my cats lay like this all the time, and Cheeto does it at the exact time we walk by him so we can "rub his belly", he's such a dog, haha, so maybe they will teach it to Bella! lol! Kari Anne, Lexi is just adorable! I can't believe how big she already is and is only 15 weeks old! We haven't brought Bella home yet but when we do she'll be 9 weeks old and its sooo exciting for me to see how big your Lexi is at 15 weeks old!!!! How has puppy training gone for her? Potty and crate training? Any setbacks? Any good piece of advice for us for when we bring Bella home???

Jbealer : it's a chinchilla cage that's Apollo my 2.5 year old male chinchilla. As you can see I built a "baracade" around his cage just for a little extra protection. I'm hoping Lexi doesn't take too much of an interest in him :/ so far she could care less and when I catch her staring I'll call Lexi's name and just tell her no and she'll turn away. I'm moving in a month and each will have their own space thankfully.

TheHailstorm: Yeah she is going to be a big girl, haha. Lexi is doing pretty well with training. She will sit and lay down when I tell her. I started that with treats and a clicker and just working with her a few times a day. Also she has to sit for 5 secs before I put her bowls of water and food down. That helps a lot so that she is patient about getting her food. As for potty training we are still working on that. I've bought a call bell to put by the door because she has a habit of sitting by the door quietly and ends up going by the door. She will actually ring every other time when she needs to potty but she figured out if she rings the bell she'll go outside so of course she just wants to play outside. So distinguishing potty time from play time is a little hard. Honestly I might have lucked out with her because she is a pretty lazy girl. In the beginning I was paranoid about her going in her crate and I didn't want her to think it was okay. So I walked her every 3 hours during the night so the first 3 wkd were tough but now she is able to go through the night and saves everything for the morning. Good luck with your new little girl!

we had 2 chinchillas... then something happened (husky involved) emergency vet visit, weeks of care, then found them a new home, but found out a month later the one did not make it
good luck on yours since Lexi is still young you might get it to work. they were fun to have around but i still wish i could have a few ferrets again.

Neither of my girls slept like that, but Shadow use to sleep on the wall (and yes she would fall off occasionally).



Stormy, on the other hand, has absolutely no shame....

Ghost most definitely has no shame, as her favorite sleeping position is on her back with her legs splayed out baring all for the world to see. Apparently she decided to get in on this discussion tonight and posed for a picture on the couch.
