so on wednesday keno is getting nuetered. nothing to major there, granted i'm nervous becuase you never know. and i didnt want to get it done this early, but due to other issues, its going to be easier ( and almost $200 cheaper to do it now) and the hubby is okay with it right now ( he still wants to breed him
)
now to the other issue. on both hind feet his outside toe nails have grown all wrong. one is so twisted i cant trim it and it will be growing into his toe here shortly ( which is why we are getting this done now) and the other is twisted outwards, so it gets caught on things and i can trim it, but not enough to where it doesnt get caught on stuff.
so our vet is going to either remove the nails or if he has to, the toes. depending on how the nail is growing and where it is. has anyone dealt with this before?
i trust my vet( been our vet for 7 years if not more and has become a family friend), so i will go with what he says needs to be done, but i'm still worried!
we dont think it will affect his walking, as they are on the outside and he doesnt put a lot of his weight on those toes, but gah i just dont know!
so kentastic just needs some good vibes this wednesday!!
