| Most dog parks frown on leashes within the park area as it causes many dogs to go into a defensive mode. The park I use has a double entrance when you come into the 1st gate you unleash open the 2nd gate and then let the dog run/ walk into the main park.
Myself I made the mistake once of leashing Biko by the 2nd gate instead of entering into the 1st/2nd gate entry point he immediately was jumped aggressively by a bigger dog. He wasn't happy and neither was I about something I should have not allow to happen. |
