Takoda is the newest member of our family. His name is Sioux for friend to everyone. I think the white mark on his chest looks like a bird in flight.

This little boy is very brave and has no quit in him. He loves to play with Thor and Neeko, but watches himself around Dora. If he is in the kitchen and Dora is laying in the entry way to the kitchen he will bark(very loudly) until someone comes to walk with him out of the kitchen. It is very funny. He is very vocal and after all of the Huskies I have had I think he is the most vocal I have heard!

His grandfather on his fathers side is AM/INT Ch Kia's Showin for the Gold and five generations back on his mothers side is AM/CAM Ch Fireside's Hellbuster. He has some impressive sledding lines on his mothers side as well. We got Takoda from the same place we got Zeus from in South Dakota, but he is not related.

Takoda went to the vet today to get his 16 wk shots. He is now a big boy with his shiny new rabies tag. He also weighed in at 27.6 pds!!

We got this ball for Takoda and he went absolutely nuts! Our backyard has a natural hill to it, so double the fun of chasing. Happy times.

He is very good looking I love his markings and has grown so much! I wish we could have had Sierra and Jack at babies! Well Jack is just a year and still has some growing left in him I think. Did you drive to South Dakota to get him?

No he flew in. We where thinking of driving to get him, but it was a 20 hour drive each way. I would have loved to have gone, but money wise flying was the best option.

Just a few new pictures of Takoda. He is eight months old now and pushing 70 pounds. I plan to take him to Pet Smart to get him weighed. He is still a momma's boy and the biggest baby! The funniest thing he does right now, is making warning barks at his reflection in the back door at night. I try to tell him that it's his reflection, but still luck yet. It is so cute!

His chest mark does still look like a bird in flight! I will try to take some face pictures. My camera takes the best pictures outside, so if it ever STOPS raining I will.
